Now you can see him this week at the Funny Bone at Town Cen­ter, where the cen­sors can’t touch him.

Just being on Chappelle’s Show is rea­son enough to go see Char­lie Mur­phy. The man behind what are arguably two of the show’s fun­ni­est skits (guess which two) will make a three night run at the Funny Bone at Town Cen­ter start­ing Thurs­day. To answer the ques­tion that’s most likely run­ning through your mind right now: yes, his stand-up is funny.

If you’re like us, you’ll still be recov­er­ing from this week­end when Wednes­day rolls around. So here’s a low-key, low-cash show for you to check out: Jesse Chong at Keagan’s. Surely you’ve seen Jesse Chong play before. If not, you really need to. He’s a Beach sta­ple. It’s the kind of mel­low, soul­ful beach music that makes a huge beer taste even bet­ter after a long day.

It’s been a good cou­ple weeks for both artists and art lovers in Hamp­ton Roads. The next great show that you can’t afford to miss is Off the Wall this Thurs­day at the Red Star Tav­ern. Not only does it fea­ture many of the 757’s pre­mier artists, it promises great music and a silent art auc­tion for charity.
