We’d like to pre­tend that we’re going to be really amped to get out the night after Christ­mas, but more than likely we’re going to be look­ing to lay low. But, the Tap­house has you cov­ered with Octo­pus — a mel­low, jam-type band from right here in Hamp­ton Roads.

We can already tell this is going to be the sort of week that when Sat­ur­day rolls around, there’s not going to be any­thing we want to hear more than some Johnny Cash. Luck­ily, the Tap­house knows it, and they’re bring­ing in Black Cash & the Bad Trips to help you get your fix.

If you’re look­ing for some fuzzy, dis­torted good­ness, then we’ve got the show for you. Tennessee’s Ghostfin­ger bring their blend of every genre pos­si­ble to the Tap­house this Friday.

There’s noth­ing bet­ter than a night of good old fash­ioned punk rock to bring in the new school year. School­house Rock Night at the Tap­house has lined up two great bands and one of our favorite DJ’s. All the pro­ceeds from the show go to sup­port Nor­folk school chil­dren, so bring your $5 for a night of great music for a great cause.
