Lupe Fiasco

So, Lupe’s com­ing to town. We can’t think of an MC that’s a bet­ter fit for the Ted: amaz­ing lyri­cist, out­spo­ken for social change, and come on — the guy wrote a song about skate­board­ing that’s down­right inspir­ing. We’d go see him for that alone.

Kings of Leon

The Kings of Leon are com­ing to ODU on Mon­day, and every­body knows it. They’re one of the biggest bands in the world right now, and sur­pris­ingly, they make really good music. It’s not that we’re suprised that they’re super­stars, or that their music is won­der­fully lis­ten­able, it’s just that those two things don’t go together all that often.
