Strangers on a Train

If you’re look­ing for some­thing a lit­tle dif­fer­ent this week, you should def­i­nitely make the time to come see Strangers on a Train at the Kauf­man The­atre. Besides being a fan­tas­tic film (and arguably one of Alfred Hitchcock’s best), it should serve to com­pli­ment the O. Win­ston Link pho­tog­ra­phy show going on right now.

After Hours: Works by the Chrysler Museum Staff

Ever won­der what the employ­ees at the Chrysler do when they leave the museum? For some of them, they go home and make incred­i­ble art. In a move by the museum that we believe is incred­i­bly impor­tant, the Chrysler is open­ing a show com­prised com­pletely of works by their staff.

Hindsight Is Always 20/20

We tend to direct you towards things that are open­ing, but here’s an exhibit that you really need to see before it closes this Sun­day. Hind­sight is 20/20 is a sparse, typo­graphic look at U.S. his­tory through State of the Union Addresses. Depend­ing upon your ideals and who’s address you’re view­ing, it can be enlight­en­ing, depress­ing, or uplift­ing. No mat­ter your view­point, the exhibit is incred­i­bly pow­er­ful and beautiful.
