Pendleton Meets Opening Ceremony

8 November 2009

Pendleton Flare Coat

We’re big fans of Opening Ceremony.  Not only do they showcase new, independent designers, but they also have great collaborations. We previously mentioned this fall’s Southwestern trend in the Fall 2009 Mens Style Guide, but it’s also an important trend for girls.

This season, Pendleton teamed up with Opening Ceremony to give you updated Navajo prints inspired by their intricately patterned Native American designs. Pendleton first became known for their iconic Native American wool woven blankets in the early 1900’s. The company has since expanded to include apparel and other western-wear.

You can check out the full collection in ombre plaids and beautiful turquoise patterns ranging from full wool mini skirts to Opening Ceremony’s classic flare coat.
