We’d like to pre­tend that we’re going to be really amped to get out the night after Christ­mas, but more than likely we’re going to be look­ing to lay low. But, the Tap­house has you cov­ered with Octo­pus — a mel­low, jam-type band from right here in Hamp­ton Roads.

Octo­pus’ music is instantly rec­og­niz­able with its flow­ing move­ments and rich tex­tured rock­ing tones. The var­ied styles of its mem­bers give them a com­plex tone which verges on indescribable.

Now, we don’t know about all that. But we can say for sure that when these guys start to really jam and the gui­tars pick up, it’s really, really good. So if you’re sav­ing your crazi­ness for New Year’s Eve, go grab a few cold ones at the Tap­house this Saturday.
