So, Lupe’s com­ing to town. We can’t think of an MC that’s a bet­ter fit for the Ted: amaz­ing lyri­cist, out­spo­ken for social change, and come on — the guy wrote a song about skate­board­ing that’s down­right inspir­ing. We’d go see him for that alone.

But there’s so much more. After a short stint play­ing with Kanye West and Phar­rell in a band called Child Rebel Sol­dier, Lupe’s been work­ing hard in the stu­dio. Fiasco has a new album on the way called, “Lasers,” that every­one who’s any­one is expect­ing to be amaz­ing. And of course, what that means for you is that you’re very likely to hear plenty of new music. Which is a good thing.
