We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: one sure way to improve your life is to eat well. Nor­folk Restau­rant Week is back, and they couldn’t make it any eas­ier to eat incred­i­bly pre­pared food at a great price.

If you’re any­thing like us, you might be look­ing for­ward to see­ing 2009 go away. But we’re not going to sit at home idly while Dick Clark sends it off either — we’re going to ring in 2010 in the wildest, most fun way we can find. We’d like to pre­tend that we’re going to be really amped to get out the night after Christ­mas, but more than likely we’re going to be look­ing to lay low. But, the Tap­house has you cov­ered with Octo­pus — a mel­low, jam-type band from right here in Hamp­ton Roads.

We really doubt there are any come­di­ans in Hamp­ton Roads more noto­ri­ous than the Push­ers. They’ve got a brand new hol­i­day show this week, and we’re sure it’ll be as raw and raunchy as ever.
